Job Description:

We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Draftsman to join our team. As a Draftsman, you will play a vital role in assisting our design team in creating accurate and precise technical drawings and plans. You will work closely with architects, engineers, and other professionals to ensure the successful implementation of design projects.

Responsibilities:

 

  • Collaborate with architects and designers to understand project requirements and specifications.

  • Create detailed technical drawings, blueprints, and plans based on project guidelines.

  • Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software to generate accurate and precise drawings.

  • Incorporate necessary dimensions, measurements, and annotations into drawings.

  • Review and revise drawings as needed, ensuring accuracy and adherence to design standards.

  • Assist in the preparation of project documentation, including material lists, schedules, and specifications.

  • Coordinate with project teams to address design-related queries and provide necessary support.

  • Stay updated with industry trends, software advancements, and drafting techniques.

  • Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and quality standards.

 

Requirements:

  • Diploma or certification in drafting, architecture, or a related field.

  • Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software, similar tools.

  • Strong technical drawing skills and attention to detail.

  • Knowledge of architectural and engineering principles.

  • Ability to interpret and understand architectural plans and specifications.

  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and professionals from different disciplines.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Familiarity with building codes, regulations, and industry standards is a plus.
